Public Discussion Forum May 24 on Orcas with Council Members Miller &amp Fralick

Tuesday, May 15 2012 - County Council Members Richard Fralick (Dist. 4) and Patty Miller (Dist. 5) will hold a public meeting on Orcas Thursday, May 24 to provide information and get public input on pressing issues now confronting the county. The meeting will begin at 4:00 pm at Fire Protection District #2 at 45 Lavender Lane in Eastsound.

Topics for discussion include on balancing the County budget in the current tough economic times, the Criminal Justice/ Public Safety Sales Tax primary ballot measure, the Critical Areas Ordinance and Shoreline Master Plan Updates.

A question and answer forum will follow the presentations. Other County issues will be discussed as time permits. County Auditor Milene Henley will also be in attendance.
