Volunteers
The Park Board recognizes fundraising efforts
Thanks go to Libby Blackwell of Orcas Island for her tireless fundraising campaign.
Ms. Blackwell was instrumental in collecting donations to help ongoing improvements
to the Stage on the Green in the heart of Eastsound (see Orcas Island page for more
on that project).
Ms. Blackwell was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for her valuable service
to the parks through ongoing park stewardship and care.
If you'd like to help us look after a County park on your island, please give us
a call at 378-8420.

Service Projects
Other opportunities exist for individuals or groups to conduct volunteer service
projects within our parks. Such projects may involve trail construction, carpentry,
or other maintenance projects to enhance park properties or facilities. Often, the
work can be tailored to fit your group.
