Sheriff's Deputy or Dispatcher Employment
Civil Service rules govern the hiring of candidates for both Deputy and Dispatcher
positions.
Testing services for Dispatcher and entry-level Deputy positions are provided through
Public Safety Testing, Inc. Interested persons are encouraged to contact Public
Safety Testing, Inc. directly at www.publicsafetytesting.com or 1-866-HIRE911.
Lateral Deputy applications are accepted at any time, directly by the Civil Service
Commission, and rankings are adjusted with each new application.
