San Juan County Parks is seeking volunteers to help out in your beautiful county parks.
Help us keep a favorite park open by assisting with grounds maintenance, litter pick-up, monitoring park activities,
public information and outreach, park interpretation, data entry, or special projects.
- Do you enjoy working outdoors?
- Have experience caretaking parks or landscaping?
- Organizational Skills?
- Willing to pick up litter?
- Have photographic or graphic design skills?
- Like to speak with people about nature?
A variety of volunteer opportunities are available. You bring your enthusiasm;
we provide guidance, support and an incredible work setting! If you'd like to help us

Service Projects
Other opportunities exist for individuals or groups to conduct volunteer service projects within our parks.
Such projects may involve trail construction, carpentry, or other maintenance projects to enhance
park properties or facilities. Often, the work can be tailored to fit your group.
