Civil Service rules govern the hiring of entry level and lateral candidates for both Deputy and Dispatcher positions.

Testing services for Dispatcher and entry-level Deputy positions are provided through Public Safety Testing, Inc. Interested persons are encouraged to contact Public Safety Testing, Inc. directly at publicsafetytesting.com or 1-866-HIRE911.

Lateral Deputy applications are accepted at any time directly by the Civil Service Commission, and rankings are adjusted with each new application.

Testing for dispatcher occurs as needed.
