Some non-native invasive plants overtake ponds, lakes, streams and shorelines, posing a threat to native vegetation, diminishing wildlife habitat, altering water quality and impacting recreational uses.
Some noxious weeds can be controlled with the aid of certain insects that are native to the weeds’ countries of origin.
