2021 Resident Reservations
Wednesday, January 27th- Wednesday, February 10th
There is new information for 2021!
Please read ALL information provided below prior to completing your Resident Reservation Request form(s).
San Juan County Residents, please be advised:
This opportunity is ONLY extended to those who reside in San Juan County year-round.
You may be asked for proof of residency (i.e. Driver’s License, Voter Registration Card, etc).
Instructions for Resident Reservation Requests:
- The Resident Reservation benefit phase is limited to a two-week period for 2021 reservations.
- Beginning Wednesday, January 27th through Wednesday, February 10th, 2021, requests will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Keep reading, below, for specific hours!
- Emailed Requests: Wednesday, January 27th at 6:00 am. Please scan and email your forms to parks@sanjuanco.com only, with “RESIDENT RESERVATION” in the subject line.
- Phone Requests: Wednesday, January 27th at 1:00 pm. Voicemail reservations are not accepted.
- In-Person: To reduce the spread of COVID-19, we are not accepting 2021 in-person requests.
- Fax Requests: Due to common fax complications, faxed forms are not encouraged.
- Early Requests: Forms received before 6:00 am on January 27th will be date-stamped as received “end of the day” for that date and processed accordingly.
- Final Deadline: Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at 4:00 pm.
- Making Reservation Date Choices:
- Please list multiple dates (1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice), if you can.
- If your first choice is not available, your next available choice (2nd or 3rd choice) will be automatically reserved, provided space is available.
- Please plan accordingly and only choose dates that you are willing to commit to.
- If one of your reservation requests cannot be accommodated at all, you will be notified via e-mail or phone.
- Choose a Maximum of Two Campsites Per Reservation:
- You may reserve up to two campsites per camping date, per household.
- Use a separate Resident Reservation Request form for each campsite request.
- Making reservations for non-resident friends is not permitted.
- Payment must be received with your completed application.
- Credit card or check payment details must match the SJC resident submitting the reservation request.
- Parks to Choose From:
- San Juan County Park (West side of San Juan) - 14 days maximum stay in a 30 day period
- Odlin County Park (Lopez Island) - 14 days maximum stay in a 30 day period
- Shaw County Park (Shaw Island) – 14 days maximum stay in a 30 day period
- San Juan County Fairgrounds (Friday Harbor R.V. Only-no tents) - 10 days maximum stay in a 30 day period; Reservations not available from August 13 – through August 24, 2021, during our San Juan County Fair set-up and event.
- Please Submit Payments Accordingly:

- By Mail: 350 Court St #8, Friday Harbor, WA 98250
- In-Person: Not permitted for 2021.
- Receiving a Reservation Confirmation & Receipt:
- Parks administrative staff will promptly book reservations as they are received, beginning at 8:30 am.
- Reservation confirmation receipts will be emailed to the email address provided on your form via our reservation system.
- If the receipt does not arrive in your email folder, please check your spam folder.
- Review Our Cancellation Policy:
- Changes can not be made to a confirmed reservation. Reservations would need to be canceled and rebooked, subject to availability; cancellation and reservation fees apply.
- Cancellations made 30+ days in advance of the first reserved day, based on the 2:00 pm check-in time, will result in a 25% cancellation fee; 72 hours through 29 days, a 50% fee; less than 72 hours, reservations are non-refundable.
- The $9 reservation fees are non-refundable.
- Cancellation refunds are issued through our administrative office, not at the parks.
- Review Our No-Show Policy:
- Your reservation will be considered a no-show if you have not arrived by 2:00 pm on the second day of your reservation, or did not cancel your reservation (also by 2:00 pm on the second day of your reservation).
- Your reservation will be considered a no-show and all nights of your reservation will be canceled without a refund.
- If You Will Arrive Late:
- Please advise us if you will arrive later than noon on the second day of your reservation.

- On weekends, email or leave a message at the Park where you will be camping.
